Dr. Miller Guest Hosts “The Weekly Check-Up”
Dr. Scott Miller recently guest-hosted radio show, “The Weekly Check-Up with Dr. Bruce Feinberg” on WSB-AM 750 and 95.5 FM. The Weekly Check-Up is on every Sunday at 3 p.m. and Dr. Miller hosted the show for two weeks.
The May 29 show was visited by the Atlanta Center for Medical Research (ACMR) Director of Operations, Eric Riesenberg, and Pharmacy Manager, Dr. Hagar Badawy.
ACMR is the largest independent clinical research center in the world and draws participants from all over the Southeast, including Tennessee, Alabama, the Carolinas, and Florida. Dr. Miller asked Riesenberg and Dr. Badawy to explain the clinical trial process at ACMR and fielded calls from listeners. They also discussed popular trials at the facility, including potential new and exciting diabetes and Alzheimer’s treatments.

The June 5 show centered on the upcoming Amplify Decatur Music Festival and featured guests Spencer Smith, Executive Director of Amplify My Community, Brooks Cloud, founder of the Pinewood, and Shalonda Capers, case manager at Decatur Cooperative Ministry.
Dr. Miller has been a long-time supporter of Amplify My Community, which puts on music festivals to raise money for Decatur Cooperative Ministry and give back to individual cities. Amplify will host six concerts in Decatur June 17-19, with a ticketed event from 5-11 p.m. June 18th. Dr. Miller got to know each guest as they explained their roles and provided an in-depth look at the background of Amplify My Community. Also, one of the participating bands, The Bitterroots, performed in-studio.
